For anyone whose interested and within driving distance of Cleveland, Ohio, acoustic blues great Ernie Hawkins of the C-A-G-E-D system fame will be conducting a workshop and concert on Saturday September 13th. Tickets are $10 for the workshop and $10 for the concert.

See Below for details:

September 13 workshop 3:30 - 5:00 pm; concert 7:30 pm G.A.R. Hall and Museum, Peninsula Ohio located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Cleveland and Akron. Tickets can be purchased online at or, or by calling Guitars Plus USA at 216-320-1967 or the Peninsula Art Academy at 330-657-2248.

This guy is truly amazing and took lessons from the Reverend Gary Davis. Now I have to decide whether to take my Martin OM-35, Larrivee Parlor or LV-03MT 12 String to the workshop.
