So I am looking at buying this guitar.  The guy says: "Neck is in excellent condition and the frets still have alot of life left in them. The body has 4 extra holes drilled near the knobs but they can be filled easily. no cracks or breaks. refinish and some hardware and this beauty is ready to go. Asking $400 obo."  For the hardware, I would need pickups, pots, a bridge, a tailpiece and some other misc. items.  Are these hard/expensive to find?  Would this be a good deal?  Is it a good guitar to try and fix up and add to the collection?

Thanks, Ty.

Is this an ebay deal?  Try www.letstalkguild.com  Loads of old Guild nuts over there.

400 for a project?  Need original tuners and pickups?  Might be hard to find.   Certainly a cool guitar, might be worth fixing up, but you might find it hard to get your money out of if not original.

Any pics?

Life is too short to drink cheap beer.

I second www.letstalkguild.com. They'll fix you up over there.

Thanks for the info on the site.  It is actually a craigslist item and is right here.
