And yet another K&K question

I'm considering buying a K&K mini for one of my larrivee's. My question is, can I use my Fishman PRO-EQ preamp with the K&K or do I need a K&K preamp (if I were to use a preamp)?
Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find anything in a search.

Thanks,

Hi Mr_LV19E, Yes, you can use your ProEQ with the K&K pickup.  The input impedance of this preamp is not ideal for the K&K, but it should work OK.  If you already have one give it a try. You might be very pleased. If you don't already have one, I'd recommend getting the Pure XLR preamp.  It will sound better than the ProEQ, but how much better is hard to say, and somewhat subjective to individual interpretation.

Hope this helps,
David

Thanks David. I have the fishman preamp I bought for a guitar I don't have anymore, I will give it a try when I obtain a K&K.
