...Rise Again...Thanks to whoever told me to check this out on the "Dead Musicians'' thread awhile back. I listened to a  "Todd Hallawell" version on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNRNMeozSWQ&feature=related   it would be nice to hear it done live. If that link works it is a little blurry on the video. But I'm pretty sure that's a Larri being used for the guitar.  Whiskey Jack has a good post on this with a link to "Nathan Rogers", Stan's son singing it also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AQr3LgzDkQ&feature=related    I wish they could have had better camera angles and sweeping of the players, But the sound quality is good. The clapping of hands sure gives you the feel of the audience's enjoyment of Nathan doing his Dad's stuff. Thanks again, (who is Todd Hallawell, sorry about my ignorance of these players)
        This is good stuff. Danny

It's live by Stan on both Home In Halifax and Betwen the Breaks Live.  There is a video clip of him playing part of it on his video One Warm Line.  I believe he plays his Laskin 12 string on it in DADGAD tuning.

Stan was one of my favorites.  I learned this song in 1981 and played it all the time.  It's a gem and still sounds good today.  I still play it quite a bit, although not in DADGAD because I don't like retuning.  Nathan's voice certainly has a family resemblance.  Thanks for the post.
