Well,  a slab actually

Haven't played electric in about 15 years, but one of the groups I work with is getting into some
music that calls for this type of thing...
oh, what the hack, no excuses: I missed my 80's strat and this seems even better!

G & L Tribute S-500 - supposedly Leo Fender's last idea for the strat type guitar.
The Tributes are CNC'd in Indonesia and assembled with G & L American parts here.
Very solidly built. The pickups are a little differrent than the Strat's, but you get very
close to that sound with more power and some extra pickup combinations.

Swamp ash body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard.

Nice G&L !!   :nice guitar:

My brother just gave me his MIM Strat. I'm loving electric now!!

Sweet slab-o-ash! I bought a G&L ASAT Classic a couple of weeks ago and really like it. The quality of the G&L appears to be very high.
Congratulations on your new toy.  :nice guitar:
