I can't seem to get any sound from my LSV-11 w/L.R. Baggs preamp fed to my AER Compact 60 acoustic amp. The little green LED on the guitar's preamp lights when I insert the 9-volt battery, and goes out when I power on AER amp... but no sound comes though...dead silence.
Does nayone have any ideas..even if it's just Larrives's telepphone support number?

Sounds like it's the jack....any guitar tech that does installations can take a loot at that for you. Larrivee installs the pickups and jacks, but they do not build them. Save yourself shipping to Larrivee, and take it to a shop, I'll bet it's a quick fix. A loose connection can cause the problem you have described.

Could it be faulty guitar cable?

Do you have the IMix "no-cut"?  It is possible that the mono/stereo switch is in the stereo position as well.  Check the internal preamp, there will be a small black slider switch that you can move from mono to stereo.  if it is in stereo and you use a mono cable you may not get any sound.  Good luck.  Jason

I do have the L.R. Baggs "imix", but I don't know whether it's the "no-cut" one...it's fitted in the side of the guitar with three control sliders (bass, treble, volume)... The cable words fine but it may be a mono. I wonder, how do I move the slider on the part of the preamp inside the guitar.
