How Do You Post Sound Clips?

Sorry for the dumb question.  I've never mic'd up, never gigged, none of my guitars have p/u's.  I play mostly for my own pleasure or with friends, always unplugged.  so, assuming I have figured out how to record on to my computer, how do you post a sound clip?  Either a very short one, like at the top of the Larrivee Guitars Forum, or longer ones, maybe 3-4 minute song?

I just thought that maybe the forum members could post sound clips of their instruments, along with the pictures.  These guitars are great to look at, but I think it would be great to hear everyone's music.

Aloha,
Mika

A simple way to begin is to download a free DAW (digital audio workshop) application such as Audacity software. You will need some kind of microphone (Samson CO1U USB, for example).
Then you need to find a host for your mp3 files. There are many sites that will host your files for free. One is www.putfile.com but you have many options here.
Then you link the mp3 file to your post. (Just as I have to my signature)

Thanks.  So you upload the files to a host site, such as putfiel or youtube, and post links?  I'll try that, just thought that you could attach audio files like you attach pictures.

aloha,
