Congrats! Beautiful guitar. The best-sounding guitar I've ever heard was a small-bodied Greven with silver oak b/s (a.k.a. Lacewood [of the Australian ilk]). Absolutely haunting resonance. The best tonal description of this wood I've heard - to the best of my faulty recollection - is that it sounds on day one like mahogany that's been played for a hundred years. Enjoy that thing.

Just got my L-03SO from Jason today too. I love it. I had the chance to play one at Elderly before getting mine, so I knew I'd like it going into the deal. The guitar looks great and is such a nice sounding guitar. It is more reminiscent of Mahogany to me than anything. I was nervous it was going to be more like Maple because of its light color, but it is a very warm and resonant wood. It's also very light.

Snatch one up while you have the chance!

Has anyone A/B'd an L-3SO against an L-03SP?  Curious in the difference in tonal qualities between the Silver Oak and the Sapele.
