Mayville Larrivee Flat-pick Contest Winner

The Mayville Bluegrass Festival is proud to announce the winner of its 2004 Flat-picking Contest Sponsored by Larrivee Guitars. Bobby Henrie of Ithaca, NY was judged the best of the finalists, and won a Custom Larrivee D-60 with the MBF logo inlaid on the headstock. Though Henrie has an unusual playing style the guitar needed no modification, because he plays upside-down and backwards. The guitar was presented by Larrivee Dealer Jim Holler of Trinity Guitars in Jamestown, NY.
