QuoteLarrivee re-introduces the Florentine cutaway!

Cool, I would have never guessed that they would bring back the Florentine cutaway.  :thumbsup

Nice, I much prefer the look of the florentine cutaway as compared with the venetian.

Maybe I am just not comprehending this.....but the BIG news is a Larrivee electric guitar......am I missing something or has this been a long requested item that I am not aware of?

:+1: on the Florentine cutaway. Now maybe I can stop looking for a C-09. Hold on, just saw the photo -- now I can stop looking for a USED C-09! Ooooooh, is that beautiful.

I bet the guy that spent a premium price to buy the "last" one from Dave a few months ago isn't too happy about the florentine cutaway coming back...........

Would they be making one if no one expressed interest? A new Larrivée model is bigger news to some than others, I guess.

That silver oak model is intriguing too.

Are they holding off the big news until after lunch?      :humour:

Do they present something new each day of NAMM, or is everything shown the first day?

Same here until I read that it was going to be both the D and L bodies.  I like the smaller (OM) bodies so it was one of those  moments, then realization set in  :doh.  But I'd love to hear the tonal qualities of an oak body.

I don't know, but I think an all acoustic guitar compnay announcing an electric and a bass is pretty big news.

Not with Larrivee. All has been announced. And its been a lot in my opinion!

Dave,

Please tell all of us lefty players that the new electrics will be available left-handed (even if it's not right away - I'll wait and save my pennies!).

Thanks!
