I'm recording direct to Zoom H4 using the H4 mic's, guitar and vocal. Everything sounds fine while monitoring with ear buds but during playback through speakers it's boomy. Any advice about set up to get rid of this?
Thanks

Move the H4 around and experiment, probably further back from you.  Trust the playback speakers more than the earbuds.

Monitor with the proper equipment - closed recording headphones for tracking and monitors for playback/mixing. To deacrease the amount of bass recorded move the mic further away from the source. For acoustic guitar you'll probably get better results if the mic is pointed toward the neck/body joint more than the soundhole.
