I feel like this was a steal for the person that got it.  Would anyone like to comment on that?  If anyone on the forum has a guitar like this, I'd gladly pay you $4,300 for it.  I think.  I don't know...it is A LOT of money...I'd have to sell every guitar I own, and I'm not sure it's worth it.  I've also had my eyes on that European Spruce/MR Goodall over on the AGF.  I think it'd be too bright for me though, I'm looking for a darker sound.

It's not a bad price for what it is, however, with few exceptions, Braz is GENERALLY over rated as a tone wood, and not worth the additional expense.  The Adi has more direct impact on the sound than the Braz does.  This isn't to say that the Bourgeois is not a fantastic guitar, but personally, I'd rather have your McIlroy.
