Is anyone out there using any type of processor or effects for live playing? I play on our praise and worship team and sometimes I think I would like to get a little different sound on some songs. Right now I playing a D-03RE with B-Band A5 AST into a Crate 125 for a monitor then out to the house sound. I'm called on to play some lead licks or intros occasionally and sometimes I feel like I need a bit more than just acoustic amplified, but I am not an electric player. Any help or ideas would surely be appreciated.

I ocassionally use a Yamaha AG stomp which has reverb/chorus/delay effects. The delay is useful for rythyms and percussive effects as well. It also sounds better than many preamps. Check out Monte Montgomery. He uses a distortion for his lead work (on acoustic) and other effects as well.

I use a Line 6 DL4 delay and a Boomerang phrase sampler. This is a lot of fun live, building loops and soloing over them and hitting some cool delays.
