I just got a Zoom RT223 Drum Machine & was curious as to which is the best type of amp to run this through...an acoustic amp or a bass amp?? This is the first time for me with a drum machine, so any helpful hints, etc would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Drum machines aren't very picky about amps. Just want to have something that'll support/ bring out bass freqs.

What are the reasons you are putting it through an amplifier in the first place?  Gigging, or simply just playing along?
If playing along - don't bother with an amp.  Simply use some open back headphones with it and play along to your heart's content.

If gigging, then you might want to consider a Keyboard amplifier, actually.

These do great with acoustic guitars, keyboards, drum machines etc. because they are bonafide full-frequency range mini-PA systems.
