I just ordered one of these. Sounds like a dandy addition to any rig. Anyone have or try one?

I have the R-1, which is the previous version, and I like it a lot, but the R-09 is supposed to be better in every respect.  David Wren records all the sound samples on the Twelfth Fret site on his R-09.

...and several other guitars.  Former Larrivees: P-01, OM-03R SH (Twelfth Fret special edition), P-01 Chris Hadfield special edition

I have one, and it's great. I looked long and hard at all the ones on the market and the Edirol was by far the easiest to operate. I've used it from everything from just laying down a few new riffs to recording a whole World Music ensamble for over 2 hours. The two small condenser mics are very responsive. The only short coming I have found is that you have to purchase an extra case and adapter if you want to mount it on a mic stand. I just keep mine in a $10 camera case. Pick up a cheap 2gb SD card and you'll be good to go.
