Does anyone have any experience with the Alesis i0/2 USB Audio Interface. I just picked one up to use with my laptop and was wondering what to expect. I plan to use the Cubase LE software that came with it.
Thanks

Skip,

I was going to try one of these when it was announced back a couple years ago.  I waited and waited and waited, and waited some more.  It was in the Sweetwater catalog for a year before they actually came to market.  I was even going to have one sent to me from Alesis to do a product review for a magazine, and still Alesis couldn't come up with a unit.

I ended up buying a PreSonus Firebox and have been very happy with it.

The IO|2 also has a plethora of worthy competitors that have been on the market longer and now are priced in the same range as the Alesis - so it's really not a surprise that it didn't take off in popularity.

Thanks for the info - wasn't aware of the earlier supply problems. I got mine from a dealer here in FL in a couple days. Still haven't gotten around to trying it, though. MAybe soon.
