Greetings, all.  Hope you don't mind a shameless plug for my new CD, "Live on GLT".

This CD was recorded live, during two separate guest appearances I did at our local NPR affiliate station, WGLT 89.3 FM, based in Illinois State College.  The appearances were on Bruce Bergethon's program "Acousticity."

I'd be honored if you would check it out - no obligation to buy, you can listen to samples of all the tracks without purchasing or entering any information.

David Berchtold: Live on GLT: www.cdbaby.com/cd/berchtold2

Four of the tracks are new performances of songs I previously recorded on my debut CD.  The other six are some of my all-time favorite cover tunes.

Thanks!

Update: Added the following information about the recordings...
Larrivee OM-05MT: Tracks 2, 3, 7, and 8.
Larrivee D-05: Track 6
Martin OM-28V: Tracks 1, 4, 5, and 9
All the above recorded with a Behringer B1 mic ($99) about 3 feet away.

Track 10 is my Larrivee OM-05MT, Recorded at home direct via the K&K Sound Pure Western mini. Repeat: no mic, and no fancy processing to make the pickups sound better.  They really do sound this good.    Well, OK, the entire CD was professionally mastered, so I guess there was some compression added.

Update 2: Anyone who previously purchased the pre-release copy of Live on GLT can upgrade to the final version for the cost of shipping.  What you get for that would be: 1) final improved artwork, 2) tracks are mastered, 3) a tray liner (the pre-release version was in a slimline case)

Cheers!
David
