Whilst channel hopping [honest] I caught a fleshing glimpse of a Larrivee on one of the music channels. The group was Bedouin Soundclash, I have never heard of them but apparently hail from Canada. Suppose that may explain things. Although the guitar was covered in stickers, it was good to see that good taste is alive and well in the up and coming generation.

Not just the young folks, I like em too - at least what I've heard so far.

I would ad 'Jeb Rand' to that list. You can also check out their video for 'when the night feels my song' at http://www.bedouinsoundclash.com/video/ ...which features the previously mentioned sticker-clad larrivee

Canada has been the source of innovative folk musicians.  Ian & Sylvia, Lightfoot, Mitchell, Young. . . .   It's refreshing to hear that young folks take an interest in a Paul-Simon-like musician.  All is not lost. bigrin
