00-05 mint.  No dings or scratches of any significance.  It sounds nice with fingerstyle or light strumming.  It has a 1 11/16 inch nut. (Yes, I re-measured it to be sure since there has been some discussion about how unusual this is.)  Has clear pickguard and original archtop case.
The mahogony back and sides are beautiful.  I love the guitar and thought I'd never sell it, but I need the money and, honestly, I play my other guitars more and the 00 just doesn't get its fair share of the time.

Beautiful silking.  The apparent difference in color of the top is just minor runout that shows up in the flash pictures, but not obvious in person.

To split hairs, my OM is actually 1 23/32, right between  1 11/16 and 1 3/4.

Assuming it isn't exact, is your OO to the thick or thin side of 1 11/16 ?

More importantly, what's the string spacing at the nut and bridge (E to E)?

sgarnett,

You're exactly right.  Hardly anybody asks about the E to e spacing.   The 00-05 E-e spacing is 1 15/32"  (1 30/64 as best I can measure).  [I compared this to a Santa Cruz I have with an E-e spacing of 1 28/64"]

So the Larrivee is a little more generous even though the nuts are the same.
The Larrivee nut is as close to 1 11/16 as I can measure (1 44/64), measuring the "bridge side" edge of the nut.

For the record, the E-e spacing at the saddle is 2 14/64".

While the 00 was out for these measurements, I played it a little.  (It had been a while.)  I had forgotten just how sweet this thing sounds.  :-)

Thanks,
Phil

I don't suppose you added some fresh dings and scratches while it was out?

You know, ... I didn't add any.   But I looked over the guitar carefully and noticed 3 TINY dings on the back that I had forgotten.  They are all very tiny, and barely dent the finish.  Insignificant, but in the interest of full disclosure, ...... they are present.

You know you need it. :thumb

Is the guitar still available?  I'm getting rid of my last dread and am returning to small 12 fretters.  My email is picker100@hotmail.com
