Well I put on a set of light Master Class Newtone strings on my LV-09E this morning . I like the sound so far , but you all know new strings always sound good . I'm not too sure what to say about the Cleartones that came with the guitar. They sounded flat after a couple of weeks , but who knows how long they were on the guitar before I got it . I didn't bother getting the freebee that Newtone offered on the forum ; figured I had a set so I would go with the set I had . This will be the first change of many in my search for the right string brand . I ordered  some double wound Newtone strings to try them out as well .
