Tom,

That was very nice -- very relaxing and calming. I've played it a couple of times.

I was going to make some pithy comment about how it would calm you when they draw my name instead of yours on the 16th but that would be crass so I won't.  :D

Oh Don, I know you're going to be crushed when you don't get it. But, we'll hook up at a jam someday and I'll let you play it. Hee Hee!

Thanks for the offer. Back at you if you go coast to coast. Give me about 12 months warning, tho'. I'll need that much intensive practice to hold up my end.

Maybe the quality in the LV-09 will rub off through osmosis.  ;)

it's a bummer i only have dial-up...11 megs is a bit too large and aol (Always Off Line) service bites toad poody :(

orsino, how does the Goodall Aloha compare with the Larrivee's you have in any regards?...i really like the Goodall TROM (Traditional OM) or the Aloha Grand Concert.  they cost some serious buckage but who knows someday i may sell my gall bladder...

Very nice...thanks for sharing.  I'm sure it's been discussed but I'm too lazy to search for the thread.  Could you tell me what the tonewoods are on the Goodall?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks again for the kind words guys.

poki, I tried to sell one of my organs but there were no takers. And they say size doesn't matter? :(
I love my Larrivees. Best value in the market. But, Goodalls are very special. You are paying for a hand-voiced top with a Goodall, so to compare the Goodall with the Larrivee is not fair. I recommend that you find a place to play them side by side and then make up your mind if the price difference is worth it to you. They both make sweet music any way you look at it though.

Mike.....Sitka top/Koa bs/pheasantwood fretboard and bridge/ Koa headplate/Mahog neck/wood fiber binding.
