This was in today's classifieds......

Guitar - Signed Estaban. Steel String. In Box. Hard case, 2 learn video's, 1 CD, extra strings, digi- tal tuner, $150

I called the guy and he said he would consider trading
straight-up for my Goodall. I wouldn't even consider it, but it's signed by "the man" himself and there are extra strings too (not to mention the digi-tal tuner).

What should I do? Please respond quickly as I'm sure someone will scarf this puppy up quick. I can only hope that potential buyers are busy with Mother's Day celebrations.

I'll sign it also. It will be trully a unique instrument.

That'll work too. The Goodall is on it's way. If I were you, I'd take off work and wait at the curb for UPS. ;)

Now we're talking, let the bidding wars begin. Man, if I could get the Esteban AND additional $100 or so for a bone nut and saddle, I'd be as happy as a pig in mud.

Man we're talking Esteban here buddy. Made from some of Home Depot's private AAAA laminate plywood. A person can't sit idly by and pass up the guitar that could be "the one". Goodall or NO Goodall.

Yea, Ors won't need the Goodall anyway, 'cause he thinks he's winning the Larrivee!  ;)

The Esteban would be perfect for him while he waits the winning ticket.

Sorry man the Estebans been sold but I can make you whole. Just send me the Goodie and I'll swap you even for the original Blueridge prototype signed by Sun Tzu, complete with canvas-like gig bag, teflon/silicon polish, and a signed Slim Whitman song book. Shipping is extra but I might consider throwing that in to in deference to your poobahness. Hurry, supplies limited. Ship the Goodie to me  today to reserve this one of a kind collectors dream.

You realize you are talking about the Esteban deluxe package here.  Retails for $9.95 more than the guy was asking.  Such a deal!

Tom,
I would just love to help you out on this one, but I already have a Koa Goodall and don't see the need for two of them.  Although yours is a GC body and mine a CJ, so I could have both sizes I guess. :D
Even if it is a "signed" Estibum, I think you better pass on it.  It might spoil you for cheap guitars like the Goody.

LOL - if I had a mid-high level guitar like yours Tom I would buy the Esteban just to have as a decoy. That way I could to steer away those who do harm to my real guitar. In my case it would either a young nephew who wants to wang away the latest crappy tune that he's been been programmed into liking by MTV. Or how about the jilted wife who can't understand why a stupid piece of wood takes all the attention away from her!

That last one's got me nervous - our neighbor rented a woodchipper after a lightning strike took down his tree!
