I personally feel good here, no question about it. I also like the Acoustic Guitar forum, but I feel this one is more "suitable" for me.

Me too. I frequent this forum BECAUSE I feel so much more relaxed....I've referred to this forum on other forums....I tell 'em you can't find a better bunch of folks than here....whoops....that's no way to keep a secret!

I think the vibe of this forum is very comfortable. In this case maybe size does matter and smaller may be better. The info shared is a great mix of players, dealers and many with some pretty good technical knowledge. There just aren't that many posts here that invite an opening to a flamer to get going. I've only read a couple of disagreements that started to escalate but they died a natural death. I don't think people here will feed that stuff by taking the bait. I do think we should start a Jean Larrivee for President campaign. Matthew could be VP. Orsino can be Secretary of State, or maybe Ambasador to Tasmania so he can use his influence to cop some BW tonewood sets for Matthew to build us some custom units. All we have to do is get the constitution changed to allow Canadians to run for office and we can start our campaign.

I think you're only seeing one side of the forum and through rose-colored glasses.
