If one chose to, what's the best way to make satin finish "glossy"? Is it easy/hard? How thick is the satin coating? I'm mostly interested in doing the back and sides but is it wise or unwise to do the top as well? What would a professional job cost me and where might one be in So Cal? Can a too-heavy gloss finish mess up the sound? I'm actually not far from Oxnard. Would the Larrivee factory do it?

There are lots of links on this subject, but most pictures on these links no longer work. If anyone has some glossed guitar pics I would like to see them as well.

I suggest using the Search function on the toolbar above. You'll find hours of reading on how to polish your satin Larrivee. Just search on the word "Polish", and hopefully you won't just come up with kielbasa threads ^_^
