do you guys think it would be tacky to have 2 strap buttons?  one on the heel, and one on the neck?

yes.

the treble side of the heel is the preferred location (IMHO).

ha! ok ok, I'll leave it alone...it's just that someone did an ugly repair job when they filled in an old strap pin hole on the treble side.  unclrob, do you think you could almost make this unoticeable if I sent it to you   The neck is stained mahogany, so it may be a little easier to make look good as opposed to no stain.

Also, I think there may be a bit of finish on the neck that got oversprayed or something.  It's not really bubbling, just looks extra thick in a few spots. I've learned my lesson about trying to fix "little" things.  It's A LOT harder than it looks.

One more thing...I don't think there's a lose brace inside the guitar, but I hear a bit of a rattle somewhere, when I'm playing...it's got quite a pick up system, so it could be something from that.

It's the breedlove revival.  I'll even let you play it when I send it down :GRN>

Making a patch disappear is a very hard job and matching stains is even harder.Dowl it with a piece of wood thats close and live with it.
