I am new to the Larrivee world and I was wondering what model the Larrivee would compare to, so when people ask me what my guitar was like I could use the more "known" names to compare it to.  I was looking at strictly stats and was wondering if the HD 28 or the D 28 were a comparable guitar?  What about Taylors?

Thanks, Mike

I don't know if this will help. One of the guy's that work here traded a D-28 towards a D03R.Said it played better and sounded more open and had more responce.

As far as Martin goes, your D-03R is more like the D16-RGT.  Check it out at:

You have a very nice guitar.
