anyone know the difference between the yamaha fg-335 and the yamaha fg-335II? i've dug around some but can't come up with anything.

I still have a FG-336SB that I bought new in 1979.  What a great guitar, was my only guitar until I started playing mostly fingerstyle, the bridge spacing is just too narrow for that.  Been a lot of places with that guitar  :mellow:  I still love to strum it & I just had it out last night.

and put in those 2 models numbers to compare.

also, FG336SB has truss rod adjustment from head, FG336SBII has truss rod adjustment via sound hole.  Not sure if same is true for FG-335 but it seems likely.

thats the best and only answer i've gotten so far. makes sense but can't really pin it down for sure,just like the serial numbers.
