Larrivée has been using Elixer Lights 12-53 on their L bodies.  I've tried many brands and prefer the Elixer Nanoweb Lights (12-53) on mine (it shipped with the Polywebs).  I also changed the saddle to bone and that made a big difference in separation and sustain.

I stuck with the lights on my L since I use it for standard tuning only, and use lights also on my OM with the exception of the high E - I use a 13 for it. The OM is for all my open tuning playing.

Too me. Tried a couple different brands, but went back to the Elixer 12s. I've also changed the saddle and nut to bone with the same results as Roman.

I still prefer D'Addario's lights on my Seagull though.

I use Elixur Nanos on all my guitars. Lights on my L-10-12, Medium/Lights on my Gibson SJ, Mediums on my LJ-10 and Lights on my Parlour.

I am through experimenting!
