The polls have closed and the audience awaits.... :<>

Well my banker is very happy to learn that there were no winners. :<>

And the answers are:

1) Guitar brand                                Yamaha FG300 ($100 pawn shop)
2) Body size                                     Dreadish
3) Tonewood combination                 Yellow plywood top, reddish brown plywood b/s
4) Bone/tusq/etc. nut and saddle       Plastic (but really nice plastic)
5) 80/20 or PB strings                       PB D'Addario EJ16
6) Coated or uncoated strings            Uncoated
7) Pick material/thickness                  Tortex .66

From what I can find the Yellow plywood top is actually sitka and the reddish brown plywood b/s is either Rosewood or Nato.  Many people love these guitars and I should kick myself since my son has a Yamaha JR1 that is very close to this model only in  3/4 size.

The player is a 23 year old who bought this guitar used for $100 (Canadian) when he was 16. He loves it!
