Eh hemmm...
I saw that too on eBay.  Do you think it was a one-time experiment?  I have never heard tell  of Larrivee's using zebrawood; wonder where it falls tonally?

I just looked up the guitar using the "completed listings" search option.  Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Larrivee-Custom-Zebrawood-Guitar-Florentine-Cutaway_W0QQitemZ7388878373QQcategoryZ2385QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Unique looking guitar!

I zoomed past the 'could afford' barrier last month on another purchase  :UND>

I should have the zebrawood Wednesday, it may be Thursday before I get it strung up with new strings and try it out. I'll try to capture a sound clip with my PC (not the highest fidelity studio).

I had one of that same series, I recognize the size and placement of the eagle inlay. Mine was Koa. They were a custom line that was made for certain shops, if I remember correctly.
No doubt, someone who really knows the scoop will verify this, or correct me sternly.
That koa with the Florentine cutaway was my frst Larrivee. I don't have it anymore, but it had wonderful tone....but that's another story.
