when you put in a custom order for a J-10FM12 with a custom neck.  Which will probably run you 5 Grand.  Other than that.  NO.

I think Randy has the last one we will see for awhile, but I don't think his has a maple neck.  I would say the odds are pretty slim.  If they made one, I would buy it in about a nano second.  Awhile back, Dave at GA had what he thought was a J-09-12 coming, and I bought it.  It turned out to be a 6 string, the bing4sons bought.  He said that the Larrivee folks looked all around the factory to see if they had a jumbo 12 in production, and they couldn't find anything.  Too bad if you ask me.  I really like the J-05-12 I have, a great guitar if you ask me, and if a 12 string maple sounds anything like the J-09 in maple I have, it must just be one sweet guitar.

Well, that's the rub....no more J's are being made...now, let me raise the ante.......

J-10 12 string
master grade flamed maple sides, back and neck
cocobolo fretboard and headstock
Abalone markers and Abalone (outlined with silver) Larrivee logo.
Something in Abalone on the bridge....
Gold gotoh 510's with FWI buttons
FWI Bridge pins with abalone dots (large)
I think I have died and gone to heaven.......

I think I got the "next-to-last" J-10-12FM. Dave advertised another one after I bought mine last summer.

pics at my www pages if you want to see it.

I wouldn't change anything about it. Its the finest 12 string I've ever played. (well, I'm somewhat partial to it)  ^_^

Furthermore, who'd WANT to?  Nice way to make a guitar play stiff and kill its tone.

I believe all of the Gibson J-200's....including the older, wonderful ones you see folks like Pete Townsend, George Harrison, EC, Chris Issack and on and on  playing ALL had maple necks.....it musta been OK for them....
