Title: D'Addario EJ16's
Post by: jmhyer on June 30, 2005, 05:05:11 PM
At long last, I've settle on these as my favorite strings (at least this week they're my favorites).

Does anyone know where I can buy these in bulk for more of a discount?  I would like to buy 10 sets or more with the environmental packaging.

P.S.  I hope this is the correct category for this topic.  I had a hard time deciding...

First Quality Music (http://www.fqms.com/) based in Louisville, KY, has pretty good prices for mail order.  Every so often you may see pretty good bulk deals on eBay.  I've bought the 10-packs of EJ16's and EJ19's there before.

Thanks everyone.  I'll check into all these suggestions.  Thes FQMS and Shoreline prices are both great.  Does anyone happen to know how the 3-pack of EJ16's is packaged?  I really like the "environmental" packaging...it's airtight and is much more protective from corrosion than most other packaging techniques.  If I buy in bulk and the strings are going to sit around for a few weeks or months, it would be nice to know they will be fresh when I'm ready to use them.

"D'Addario 3-D packs are three complete sets conveniently packaged in one box. Each set is individually sealed in a corrosion Intercept bag for long life."

I bought a 12pack box at GC for $45 out the door.  Had to haggle with them for a bit...
