Title: A VERY good read

In light of a personal recent experience getting a Canadian made guitar back into Canada, ( Forum II all hog, rosewood fingerboard),
I found this article illuminating.

A good read. I hope they can change the law so it does not have such a great impact on the instrument companies who clearly not why they implemented the law in the first place. Thanks for sharing.

Agree - thanks for sharing this and I also hope that when they meet again in 2019, they'll have enough better information (and communication from instrument makers and musicians) to balance this so that it addresses the problem areas without punishing others.

I don't know of ANY instrument maker that isn't conscientious about conservation and using woods respectfully in their building. Same with most musicians.

Very enlightening as to the cause of the recent regulations.  It is nice to know that they know they overdid it...
