Welcome to the forum. I predict your new C10 will compare favorably. My Larrivee JCL is on par with my Goodall Rosewood Standard.
:welcome:
Looking forward to seeing photos and hearing your verdict.
Welcome from a Canadian member. I would like to see some pics and get your thoughts on comparisons with your other guitars too.

Very :nice guitar: If it sounds like the C models I have had, and/or played, You will be happy!
Played a C09 recently and was blown away!
:nice guitar:

I git the guitar it playsbeauifully and is very very nice sounding, it rings like a bell. However the top was cracked from the bridge to the end block. I took it to my luthier and he says that its been professionally repaired, but I made the seller give me more money back for lying. What a sound though!

Congrats, hope you enjoy it for years to come. If it sounds anything like my L-10, you're going to be very happy with it. :thumb

Fine guitar, the seller not disclosing the crack sucks.
C'mon,.......... where's the rest of the pics? Just showing the back of the neck isn't fair! :?
sorry i thought i picked all of them
and the last
Nice guitar! Disappointing about the lack of disclosure on the crack, but I hope the seller gave you a fair refund. As long as it is stable and sounds great, just keep playing!
There are a lot of great guitars out there that have had a crack professionally repaired and they are usually just fine after the repair.
I studied the pic on the Reverb site fairly hard and could see no sign of a crack. For a second I thought about messaging the seller asking how they managed to forget to disclose that, but, ya know, life's short . . .
But at least it adds another datapoint of skepticism buying sight unseen and the necessity of a return policy when buying.
Best of luck with the guitar, it's a beauty!
There was so much undisclosed damage on the old O-01MH that I bought from a forum member, it would require a whole new topic. With pictures.
But for me it became "the O Project", my favorite Larrivee parlor of the four I've had. Sometimes cracks, bumps and bruises make for better music.
Still crooks are bad, and should leave us alone.

And one of my all-time favourite topics!
It has the nicest sound of them all, and since my house is always 72 at 50% hunidity, it looks fletter and thinner every day. It sounds so nice i cqn barely see it, if you know what I mean. Keeper for sure.
Is that a crack, or did the glue on the joint fail?
It looks like the joint separated from dryness

Maintain 45% RH and the seam should seal up tite. Keep a close watch on humidity levels.
Buy some hygrometers, and a room humidifier, if you don't have them.
typically my house is 50 % rh 70 degrees year round. Its already levellng out......

Whereabouts are you? It sounds like Oxnard weather
Boston, but we have central climate cotrol
Nice looking guitar, really clean lines in the design and the crack is hard to detect from the photos.
The cutaway gives you extra options at the top end and Larrivee goes above and beyond. I have a Venetian Cutaway on my 12 string.
Best wishes for many years of playing.

I do A/C for a living. You must have a very good system.
