Title: Sweet Autumn Wine
Post by: flatlander on October 29, 2017, 09:02:27 PM
Sweet Autumn Wine   Here's a song about the season I wrote this week.   Played on Larrivee Pete Anderson model. Why the quit making these guitars I don't know, but glad I have one.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4RyjGuU7FI&feature=player_embedded

:thumbsup. I really like this one. "I'd like to share a glass of this sweet autumn wine."
Guitar sounds very nice. It's a simple reason why they don't make them anymore. They were made to resemble Harmony guitars. And That's not what Larrivee is about.

Before Bill Collings passed away he brought in a whole new line of guitars, made to look like the old Chicago catalog models. The Waterloo series. It has been selling well. They go for two grand, give or take. Lots of options.

But I have not seen a maple back and sides like the Pete Anderson. A 12 fret maple OM is nice. I liked my little OO-09FM. But your Pete is richer.
