For twenty years I've never found a need to own a twelve string. Then a few of friends started getting them and I played theirs a little but was less than impressed. One day on Father's day this was offered online. It became my first Larrivee, I had been reading about Larrivees and watching videos for some time. Even played a couple at a local shop. I also knew from what I read this one was something special. I have come to adore this guitar and given it's 1-7/8" nut, it gives me room to move my huge fingers around. It's also a 40 anniversary addition signed by JCL. I did some set up work to increase playability and it's a joy to play and when mic'd up it just sparkles a room with sound. Everyone comments on how it sounds. So to the unbelievers, never say never.

You are a lucky person. I am blown away by just the LOOKS of that guitar.
I have an L-02 12 string that sounds phenomenal and two non-Larrivee 12 strings as well.
I have a feeling your 12 sounds better than any of mine.
Play it like you stole it.
Mike

Think a Larrivee guitar is a great value, trying to get a youngster I've been helping learn to play join the Larrivee family.
