Title: Even in the Quietest Moments
Post by: markj on August 07, 2017, 06:22:56 PM
Not perfect but had fun recording it. It definitely opens up the areas that need some work and even proper arrangement to get it to flow in sync with the rhythm of the lyrics, etc.

Used the new 12 string, but also then multi-tracked the LV-10 on top. So 18 strings.  :laughin:

No click track so, there are a couple of minor missteps. I think the sound quality is pretty darn good which is another technical/art aspect of this process that I am trying to get better at doing.

First attempt at recording the new 12 string.

An old Supertramp song...

Danny likes it. Never heard any missteps. Just pleasant guitar playing.

     Nice 12 string tones.

Mark,
That was lovely.  No apologies needed for that piece of music.

Thanks guys!  As always, we are our own worst critic. Always striving for perfection which is so elusive if not impossible. I don't splice or correct for timing in the post processing. I have to play each piece from start to finish, without making a mistake. lol
