Title: Keb Mo
Post by: D4ve on February 05, 2005, 01:01:52 PM
I just got a cd in from Amazon.
Keb Mo Keep it Simple.
It is pretty good traditional blues with lots of subtle interface from other blues styles.
Easy to listen too.
Makes you want to drag out the guitar.

check out the Sessions at West 54th DVD....very good with guest appearance by Dr John......one of the things I like most about Kevin is that he is having fun in a big way when he performs.....some of his slow ballads are his best stuff

and he collaborated w/Martin to create a great guitar, which bears his name & sig on the 12th fret.  I like it so much, I made it my tag line!   ;)

I also agree w/the above mentioned videos, especially the instrucional "Blues of Keb Mo".

Regards.

Well call me easy, just don't call me late to supper...... been looking for some input on CDs to get for more blues standards. Just went to Amazon and ordered Keb Mo Keep It Simple, and Keb Mop "Keb Mo". After a listen on a couple of the second CD, wanted that one too. Wife spoke up and ended up getting her the Ray Charles soundtrack CD as well.

 :)
