Title: Jimmy Wahlsteen
Post by: abalone at last on May 14, 2013, 03:40:12 AM
Here"s a clip of Jimmy and his 3 clones showing how well the Larrivee guitar adapts to pop music....though played mainly on a Gibson, the Larrivee signature tone is heard throughout on the chorus section of this amusing video. Anyone see those dark join lines on the soundboard of his L09.....reminds me of an L03??? He played a ton of Larrivee models and I expect he will be back with more tunes soon.

He's one of my favorites, as almost all the candyrat label mates are. This is an older tune and one of his only videos with his Gibson. His newer tunes mostly feature his new Saden guitars. He had a couple customs made from Saden guitar shop. They are quite delightful sounding.

The larrivee in this song is something special for sure!:

Also, this is something newer from him:    (featuring his baritone larrivee)   (also larrivee)   (featuring his Saden)

I think it's a Larrivee SD-60 instead of a baritone.  He is a great guitarist.
