Title: planning to make a custom pickguard for my little parlor
Post by: dr.underhill on June 03, 2012, 09:32:03 PM
i've got a sheet of ebony and trim ordered and a sheet of adhesive as well. i will post some pics as it proceeds.
i recently did some work for friend on a jazz guitar- i hand carved the tailpiece, and also did the pickguard & truss rod cover and a little inlay work on the headstock. he seemed happy and i got some needed experience with all the materials covered by the owner.

Man you are quite creative and handy.  Good for you.  Look forward to seeing your new pickguard.
