Title: Pearl's Perfect 000-60
Post by: Pearl on January 31, 2012, 02:55:45 AM
I restrung my 000-60 with D'addario EXP 12-53's and it came to life.  Who else has a 000-60 and loves it?

Any other string suggestions?

Any interest in a trade?

I have the Taylor GC8E Tabacco burst for sale on the forum.

Let me know and we'll talk about it.

Here are some pictures.  A video is technically more difficult for me.

It was made in 2008 and I am the second owner.

Enjoy.

Why are the interesting comments being deleted from this thread?

Not sure which comments you are referring to.  I haven't deleted anything myself.  Maybe the poster thought better of it and deleted his or her own comment ?

There was one about this guitar being fuller than my other 000, and a "What guitar?"

I am posting this as this topic already at top:

Friends nor was it me who deleted BUT maybe we should have. I would strongly suggest the Marketplace Rules  be read where it states twice:

Posts in the Buy & Sell section should be on topic and any replies should only be by interested parties.

and also:

Please limit posts in the Buy & Sell section to inquiries about items only.  Random discussion just bumps others posts down

Please have a read HERE (http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=12882.0) as they apply to everyone and contribute to making this the best Forum on the Internet

Bingo.
I deleted them specifically for the reason stated above.
You wouldn't think the comments so interesting if you had another item for sale here getting bumped down (or off of) Page One because someone wants to crack wise.

Are you selling your 000-60?

I restrung this 000-60 with D'addario EXP 12-53's and it is now the best guitar I have ever heard, so I am keeping it.

Thanks for all your interest, even if your comments got deleted.

If I decide to sell in the future, I will keep you posted, pun intended.

Bingo.

Call me a prude, but I was personally offended by the image posted of the guitar for sale. It was distasteful and I would have rather seen the image deleted in lieu of the comments.

Greg

Why? I think it is a beautiful guitar.

I agree, it is a beautiful guitar.  Now that it is NFS, could one of the moderators please move this thread to the general guitar discussion section so we may continue on our merry way without breaking the rules.

Thank you.

Here you go.  Now it's a discussion about your guitar which is, apparently, now, not for sale.    Let's try to keep the discussion about the guitar, ok ?

I have a 00-70. I love the way these slot head traditional models provide a full round tone. I bet Pearl's 000-60 is similar...but just with a bit bigger sound....

I almost bit on her 000-50 but was a little too slow....would love a mahogany model to go with my rosewood. Nice guitar...I can see why she decided not to sell.

I bought Pearl's OOO-50 and yes it's a stellar guitar.
Thanks, Dave
