Title: Has Anyone Seen The Music
Post by: wyodeb on December 28, 2003, 01:32:05 AM
For "Late Winter, Early Spring (When Everyone Goes to Mexico) by John Denver? It was one of my first favorite guitar solos. I may never be able to play it, but I'd sure like to work on it.

Have you checked guitartabs.com?

Still haven't found it anywhere. I checked out several large John Denver collections when we were in Denver, but to no avail. :(
I'm finding I would have a better chance of locating it if there were lyrics.

If you have a recording of it and live near a college, maybe you can pay a music major to transcribe it for you.

Morning Deb,
Great song... Are you looking for tabs or sheet music?  I have both. ;)
Will your ISP let you receive large mail attachments?
Just let me know.....

I hate to sound greedy, but both would be wonderful! I read music, and often go back and forth between tabs and sheet music. I have had a long and fruitless search on the web. It seems to be included in a video/DVD course on how to play like John Denver, but that is all--and very pricey! I have loved that song since about Jr. High! I'm not sure about our home ISP, but I work at a newspaper in the production department, and receive huge full-color PDF ads all the time. I'll send you my email there.

Thanks!!

Deb

I keep trying to change my email address for the forum (we switched ISPs), but it won't let me. I sent you a message with my work address, which will be better for receiving attachments.

Thanks!!
Deb :D

Thanks so much for the music! I've been working on it (along with my lesson stuff). I've been on a John Denver/Gordon Lightfoot kick lately--nostalgia reigns supreme...
