Darrell Scott is quite a down to earth fellow and gentleman. We had a small church converted to music hall venue here for several years, until about 5 years back, and Darrell played there several times, bringing a variety of other Nashville musicians with him each time.

When it looks and sounds so easy, so effortless, so simple and soulful (and you know how much work and talent and experience are really present) - man, that's when music is at its best (or sport, or any kind of art). Thanks for the post!  Would love to be able to hear this man play live sometime.

He is playing with a pick and fingerpicking at the same time. That's cool.

Big Darrell Scott fan here but Crooked Road is not my favourite of his CD. You have to hear Live in NC. And then Theater of the Unheard (even if he spells theatre incorrectly) and also Robert Plant's Band of Joy. Tim O'Brien and Darrell Scott, Real Time is awesome as well.
