This CD is in the same vein as Elegant Tern & the Redwood Sidthe, featuring beautiful and lyrical fingerstyle solo acoustic guitar pieces. Yet it manages more brightness and spunk than earlier releases. Headlands, West Wind, and A Jig for John are all original tunes with a decidedly Celtic flavor that is delightful, fast & fun. The CD includes one traditional tune, South Wind, a beautiful aire from the British Isles.

Meadow Run also brings something old and something new - the lute! White Roots is a piece written and recorded on a 13-course baroque lute. If you like the sound of the guitar, you'll be amazed by this instrument and its incredible bass range.
