Title: Finding A Good Luthier
Post by: wyodeb on December 07, 2003, 02:11:52 AM
How does one go about finding a good luthier? Especially up here in Northern Wyoming. I'd like to have a set-up done on the OM (although it feels just about perfect to me), and a bone saddle installed. I don't feel at all qualified to make one myself!

Start by asking other player's who they use.Interview them, kinda get a feel for them.See if they will let you check out there work that they my have in house.Make sure they don't talk down to you.Once you find one, bring them treat's,do not hand feed them, just leave it on the bench. :P
We love big thanks and smiles, the bosses like the money.
Make sure that there very service friendly,no baulking or hedging, just want to get it rite.
Make sure they know how to listen
