If all goes well I should be in guitar heaven Thursday morning. I am driving from the Bay Area to Irvine and stopping by Oxnard to tour the Larrivee factory where my D10 was born 7 years ago. I toured the Taylor factory in El Cajon years ago, so this will be an interesting comparison. Can't wait to see all those beautiful guitar bodies being formed. :nana_guitar
Can't recommend it enough! Enjoy!
Tad
Lucky Duck, don't forget pics for us overseaeers that can't make it there
cheers

You will have a good time for sure, I enjoyed a visit there last fall very much.
While you are there see if Matthew will let you snag a Larrivee logo for me, to put on my arch top case I got for my F-III. (It says "Martin" on a very nice brass plate right now) :whistling:
Enjoy!!! And, yes, please take as many pics as possible so we can live vicariously through you! :bgrin: I think the hardest part for me would be leaving!
I'll take some pics for sure. Matthew said to bring my D10 down and he would check the set up for me. That's pretty good customer service!
You`ll have a great day but probably end up with GAS...have fun, Pete

Lived in Southern Cal for many yars. I remember many beautiful bodies. Don't remember any guitars.
currently it hotter than (well you know). It actually hit 91 the other day.
For the coast that is hot and we are weather weenies and can't take it.
Be careful leaving you guitar in the car. Have a good visit.
Had a great time at the Larrivee factory in Oxnard yesterday. Spent 2 hours talking with Jean and Matthew. And my wife had arranged for a BIG surprise to be waiting for me. I took a bunch of pics, but have to wait til I get home to upload them.
Walkerman, I saw your custom sunburst driying in the finishing room, and I took a pic for you. Matthew told me it was your guitar. Talk about knowing your customers!
