Hey Fongie.  I would have thought AC/DC was playing frequently down under.  They are gearing up for a North American tour this summer and from what I've heard tickets have been going fast.  Unfortunately they arent playing in my neck of the woods otherwise I would love to see them.  Great band, with an awesome sound.

Whatta you mean coming home, Angus and Malcolm are from Glasgow - can't get two better Scottish names than Angus and Malcolm!!!

My understanding is that Angus began playing guitar when he was 5, and moved to Australia when he was 8, and Malcolm was 10.  That officially makes AC/DC a Scottish band.

:humour:

They rock though!

"Black Ice" solidified their role as RnR icons.
Love 'em.  Always have, always will.

Just listen to Angus or Malcolm speak. No doubt about it, they're Aussies! (even though they are Scottish born).

Cheers, Scott. (Young)  :roll

Fongie, are you familiar with Frank Gambale? He is an awesome jazz-fusion guitarist, played with Chick Corea's Electric band for yrs.. He has a CD called "Thunder From Down Under". I know the type of music your band plays is totally different, but just wondering if yours tastes were diverse enough to include him. Saw him in New Haven, CT, 3 times in a small venue, the band including: Eric Marienthal (sax), John Pattatucci (bass) Dave Weckyl (drums), Frank, & of course, Chick on keyboards. Fantastic shows @ a place called "Toad's Place". Frank's nickname is also "Thunder From Down Under". Just wondering?
