Title: Need Roland AC-60 Amp EQ Info and Input Impedance
Post by: ark on September 09, 2008, 01:26:34 AM
I'm trying to find out how the Bass, Middle and Treble EQ controls on the Roland AC-60 work. Unlike all the other amp manuals I've looked at, the Roland manual says nothing about the EQ specs ( how much boost or cut, what are the center freqs, etc). Same for the AC-90 manual. I tried to ask Roland's customer service email line -- they just said adjust the controls until you like the sound -- not very helpful if you are trying to match up the amp capabilities with other equipment. They also won't provide the input impedances for the input channels  (my K&K pickup works best with a 1 MegOhm input impedance -- not more, not less).  I find this lack of information odd, and aggravating. Why won't Roland provide what seems to me to be standard spec info?
Thx,
Al
