I find myself watching to the end of this guys' demos. If I could play like that...

Sorry about that. I turned 53 the other day. It's beginning to show. :doh
Any,,,thanks for the humorous replies.
lovely.
thanks.
Very nice. One more player that makes me want to give up.
I'm really not so sure about all the facial expressions though. Hendrix looked cool when he pulled faces. This guy looks like he's advertising Larrivee as a cure for constipation. (No disrespect to the playing skills)
Great picking!
Facial expressions or not like the title suggest this and his other vids is truly Great Playing!!!!

Those kinds of things (involuntary muscle constractions) are common when extreme concentration and focus are required. I know a preacher who closes one eye while making some poignant statements. Strange, but so is genius.
I've seen Phil a few times at a local folk club here in the UK (Cross Keys, Uppermill) and he is very entertaining and a crackin player - he does seem to have developed some facial expressions recently but I would be prepared to look like a gurning champion if I could play like that :bgrin:

Awww guys, I wasn't trying to be disrespectful, it was a poor attempt at humour. His playing is far beyond what I could ever dream of, and I am sure he's a really nice bloke.
Sincere apologies. Wish I'd never said anything.
Any room in the cave Unclrob?
I never noticed his facial expressions. The guitar sounds fab and his playing ain't too shabby, at all.
Well, I can't play like that, but my OM-03R is much better looking than his! :bgrin:

Ben - definately :+1:
Very nice. If I practice really hard I might sound like that in about a hundred years.
