Hello,

The Seagull Grand is a parlor guitar and is a good beater.  It has some scratches but is in good shape.  It is in a Larrivee Parlor Gig Bag - $135.

The Danelectro U2 (reissue-2000?)is commie red and has rarely been used.  Comes with everything original including a tweed hard shell case - $235.

Marantz Portable Cassette Recorder PMD101with an after- market power chord-$50.

Buyer pays for shipping.

Thanks,
Kevin

Out of curiousity...is 'commie red' an actual color name? I can immediately picture exactly the color, but I have never heard it called that.  :WNK>

Yes, with a whimsical application to brand marketing, Dano returned to the guitar market with a big splash in 1997 featuring updated and inexpensive reissues of their 50s guitars in a variety of cool colors including commie red, limo black, peachy keen, beatnik burgandy, and nifty aqua.  In 1998 they moved over 50,000 of these guitars, completely flooding the market.

I've played a couple Dano reissue basses of the same vintage. Great low priced basses. I'm sure the guitars are comparable.

A plug for the Marantz.  I have the PMD201 and it's still going strong after hard use for 12 years.  Great products.  Built like tanks, with drive motors that never quit.  The little condensor mics do an amzing job for an on-board mic.  This is an absolutely perfect tool for quickly recording those great riffs and song ideas before they drift out of memory.   Never again will you say, "Damn, what was that great tune I came up with last night...?"

Good luck with the sale, Kevin.

Here is a link to the commie red guitar.  I wish I could take credit for the color name but someone way more creative than me thought that one up.  Pretty funny.  50,000 guitars in one year!!! Holy cow!  Everybody in my town could have two!  That would be one nice jam.

Sorry for the picture quality.

Last call.  The Seagull and the Danelectro get thrown into the Bay tomorrow or Sunday.  The tape deck is gone.

Thanks,
Kevin

I just sent you a message regarding the Seagull.  I hope I'm not too late.

The Seagull and the Danelectro are gone.  Thank you for all the kind inquiries.

Thanks again,
Kevin
